Enjoy some photos of John’s nearly week-long visit! Thanks for coming, man — we were glad to host you :)
Come again soon!
We visited the Atlanta Botanical Garden while the Weavers were visiting in August. It was so lovely that I took my Mom when she was down to visit this past weekend. Enjoy these photos from both trips — and visit if you’re ever in town — I’ll take you!
The Earth Goddess — part of the Imaginary Worlds exhibit — my favorite.
We drove east to Athens, Georgia last month to see Josh Ritter on the last stop of the first leg of his U.S. tour. We made an evening of it and left work early. We ate dinner at Big City Bread Cafe, as recommended by my co-worker, Theresa, a University of Georgia alum. Then we drove around UGA’s campus and I tasked Jordan with taking photos from the car (“For Theresa!”).

Then, Josh Ritter and the Royal City Band at the Melting Point. A teeny tiny venue!
Driving back to Atlanta in the hazy humidity and semi-rain, the Bank of America building looked like a flashlight.
